RalphIn April 2018, director Polly Graham and I collaborated together on 4 days of Research and Development of my play about the life of Set Designer and Kindertransport refugee Ralph Koltai.

We were extremely grateful for the support of the Arts Council of Wales and a variety of private donors, without whom it would not have been possible to undertake this phase of development. Many thanks also to the RWCMD, for the use of their Seligman studio, and the Victory Services Club, London, who lent us Carisbrooke Hall for the London showcase.
Excerpts of the play subsequently enjoyed performances at the celebration of Ralph’s life at the Linbury Theatre, Royal Opera House, in September 2019, and in December 2019, a scene from a new version of the play was performed at The Other Room Theatre, Cardiff, as part of their ‘SEEN’ new writing showcases. The play’s development is ongoing.
